Could it of been Coccidiosis? I checked the bedding and there was some diarrhea. No blood. I've been giving them medicated feed and the occasional nutri-drench
Blood does not need to be seen for it to be coccidiosis.
It will not hurt to go ahead and start treating them for it today.
You should not give vitamins while treating for coccidiosis.

Have you ever had to treat for it or lost birds in the past from coccidiosis?
If so then it is highly possible these chicks are dying from coccidiosis.

Stop...and wait.
Don't get any more until you are for sure what is killing them.

Do you have Corid on hand?
If not can you go get some today?
I looked while I was getting the heating pad, and they were out of stock. My girlfriend said she'll pick some up and bring me it tomorrow. I hope it won't be too late again

These are my first chicks, my girlfriend raised silkies and said she has similar problems to mine. No experience with it outside of that

Good luck with your new set up! :fl Please keep us posted.
The wood I was building with kept splintering so I found a big cardboard box for now. Here's the new setup, not sure where to put the wires though. I don't want them pecking at it

View attachment 1529779 (this pic taken at 8 days old). how old did you say your babies are? mine were hatched on aug 29 and at 11 days now the have wing feathers and pretty good start on tail feathers. from your newest pic, i’m not seeing the same progression for chicks over 2 weeks old???
I think they are two weeks old, supposed to be 2 weeks old.
You are correct...they look very small for 2 weeks which is another reason you should start Corid.
Having coccidiosis can be tearing up their insides so to speak and not allow them to absorbs the proper nutrition which could be why they are small.
