Need A Hatch Buddy.. Anyone Setting Today 2/26?

The last chick is out and drying! 6 out of 6 hatched!! and they were early. I kept 99.5 to 100 degrees throughout with around 35% humidity up to day 18 then around 70% at the end. Five of them hatched less than a day into lockdown ... all seem healthy and happy!

Good luck to everyone still waiting. It's been an exciting, exhausting time.

It has started! I got a chirp this afternoon and I have a pip tonite! So far one little Aseel is pipping! Tomorrow is Hatch Day so hopefully the two more that I'm expecting will start to pip. So hopefully in the morning I will have a baby out of the egg! If and when it hatches, I will take pics! Keep your fingers crossed please!!

While I'm on pins and needles, my oldest Aussie Ely is worrying too! When he hears that little baby chirp he rushes to the incubator and stares at it! I finally had to put up a baby gate in the doorway into the brooder room. He is laying in front of the gate staring forlornly at the bator! He is so funny! It's like he's willing the poor chick to hatch faster!

Our Golden Retriever does that. Nikki will run from the bator & back to me to let me know something is happening in there...lol. She also guards the brooders from our Husky & the cats. She thinks she's the mother of all creatures!

We sometimes take pics with chicks on her back.
