Need Advice, not the chicken I was promised.

I could see where the ones on the left could be mistaken for BOs. The farm store you bought them from only knows what the hatchery tells them. These people don't specialize is sexing chicks or knowing their breeds.

Sorry your girls are sad that they don't have blue or green eggs. This is one of those tough life lessons that we all have to learn. Sometimes things don't go the way we want them to. In the future, you might be better off ordering directly from a hatchery. You might have a better chance of getting the chicks you hoped for.

Very disappointing , a sex link has a shorter life I’d for sure complain about that one , that’s not what you paid for

That’s not an Easter Egger.
Oh, don't I know it. The problem was is the buff orpingtons the barred rocks and all of the Easter Eggers are in one bin. 90% sexed. I'm not a novice when it comes to chickens at all been raising them my entire life. I knew the buff orpington at 10 days old was not a buff orpington but I wasn't too concerned about that. When the Easter Eggers never developed a beard I thought that was okay because there are cases where some do not have beards. But today, at 5 days short of being 5 months old the supposed Easter Egger lays a brown egg. I know they lay at 7 months not five. I just have no idea what the hell these chickens are.

Sometimes they will lay at 5 months of age. The chicken has a walnut or very poor rose comb.
