I have 3 Rhode Island Red ladies who have grown up together and are good buddies. One of my ladies had a run in with a dog last week and has been recuperating in my bathroom for the last week. She's much better and pretty close to healed, except for missing some feathers on her back. I'm pretty sure she's ready to go back out with her sisters and I've purchased some Blue-Kote to cover up her wound and keep the other girls from bothering her bald spot. What would you guys suggest for smoothest transition back into the group? Should I wait and put her out in the morning win the rest of the girls come out of the coop or slip her in at night so they can all emerge together?

    Thanks!!
