Well, to me, the pepper is more than worth the results! BTW, I just ordered some Headache Buster. $14.99 and worth it if it only worked 50%! Thanks, Claud. The site says it's also sold at Rite-Aid and Walgreens.

I get these pills from Dollar General and all it says on the label is Headache Relief. They are in a green bottle. They have yet to NOT work for me. I don't get them as bad as I used to though. When they where so bad I couldn't even raise my head without it bounding and a threat of vomiting and opening my eyes was impossible. Any smell made it worse also. I would have somebody get me a bowl of ice water with a wash cloth. I kept the ice cold wash cloth over my eyes and slept until it was gone. Somebody would come in and re wet the cloth so it was cold again.

But I have since divorced my reason for a migrane and no longer suffer from them as often. But i'm not suggesting divorce just the pills in the green bottle. I was taking perscription pills for a long time and found these and Dollar General. They actually work.

Well, I've gotten too many e mails and calls about headaches... Well I don't have plaque on the brain and that's good. Apparently I truly have AHDH which I suspected but that still doesn't address the headache. Changed and now on a new RX, and it's helping...Went to podiatrist and he found extensive arthritis in my big toes which was caused by some bunion surgery years ago.. They applied a "foot rocker" under my feet with glue,,,,It shall be fun to take off. Something was said about needing to apply finger nail polish to remove it...I shall have a personal party when I remove this and get to scrub my feet again...Stay well and God bless you all for your caring! Sometimes it works but it all boils down the time and how long the migraines been hanging around. If you know of relatives saying they have a migraine coming and you are feeling fine, better take a pain reliever ahead of time before that migraine comes. I had migraines so bad that I would literally puke, be nasty to anyone, dark room and let me sleep with ice cold rag over my eyes and hot pad on the back of my neck. Sometimes I would rock in my rocking recliner to soothe the sickness or keep the brain from being "angry". My Dad and his father, all had migraines. And being genetics can play a role on that one.

Today's migraine was so bad I felt like my family would be better off without me. And no, I wasn't thinking suicide, just how they would be better off with a mom/wife who wasn't sick so much. I am so tired of being sick. I have things I want to do and I hardly ever feel good enough to do them.

I am having one humdinger of a pity party!!

at this chronic migraine garbage!!

I've had dozens of meds, 3 neurologists, MRIs, MRAs, CAT Scans, etc,..... and on and on.....

I have to say I was in a pinch and didnt have my script meds with me..got a migraine start (I dont know about you; but I can tell a diff. between regular headaches and ones that will turn into migraines..) so I stopped
by the dollar general and got the green bottled as mentioned before headache relief med...worked great at preventing one...which I was happy about...

but if I get one...and it gets to the point where I need to;

I take a relpax and head to bed..strip down to TMI; undies and cover up, turn my fan on high for white noise..lights off and put a pillow over my head...leaving my mouth exposed to breath easier...

and I'm often out and can sleep it off in a couple hours...

I took imitrex before but it made me feellike my head/neck was being set on fire!

One word: Imitrex

It changed my life...my life, now, is not governed by headaches.

I still enjoy the finer things in life - messages, meditation, etc. But those are for me....Imitrex is for my headaches.

Can someone post what the ingredients are in the green bottle from Dollar General?

I haven't used Imitrex for a few years because of one of the meds I was on at the time. I am currently on 4 prophylactic migraine medications. I just put a call into my doctor to try it again. Is imitrex still available in injections and tablets? I have almost zero relief with the narcotic prescriptions. They are barely worth taking.
