Do you have the tricide neo? I’d def try it. And drawing salve too. You don’t want to open it back up?

I don't have either, but I'm trying to understand if I should order them. The vet pulled off the scab and cleaned the area and he thought it looked good. He said I shouldn't need to pick it off and dig in there again, but this swelling worries me. I also am just not sure that I'm good at doing the surgery. My other little duck Mable has a bumble starting and I picked the scab off today as it was swollen and hard underneath, but it just started bleeding and I couldn't see a kernel or anything inside. Ugh, I don't want to make it worse!

I’ve never used the tricide neo but I’ve heard good things about it. Okay don’t go back in. Can you email a picture of the foot to the vet for ideas on why it’s swelling like it is? Doesn’t make sense if he cleaned it out. Keep up with the soaking and wait a bit on Mabel unless it’s really bad.

Mable wasn't bad. None of my ducks are as bad as some photos I've seen with big black scabs, but definitely swelling a little scabs.
