Do you have a picture of yours? I have looked at the Hova Bator, different models and I just can't decide if I want one. Also don't know how many more times we will hatch eggs.

Once you start hatching you will not stop!

I took a break and now I am back at it. Cannot wait to see what color Serama and Silkies I get!

Here ya go. I hope the pic helps you with your choice. As far as hatching goes I have attached about 500 since last Feb.

Bubbles at this point are not normal. I would take them out. I've had to toss some with air bubbles. Hard to do, but if you are seeing dark eggs now, they are developing. My guess is that the bubbly ones are more clear?

Oh man, loving those blue eggs!!
I have a question about your temp. You did say that you are using a still air right? Plus a turner? I had problems when I used a turner with my still air, it really put those eggs up close to the heating elements. Are you keeping the temp down a bit lower because you are using the turner, or are you keeping it around the 101 mark? It was probably just me in my beginning stages of hatching..but I really wanted to blame it on the egg turner being too close to the heating elements.

No I keep my temp 99-101 My turner sits flat on the wire mess in the bator. As to the temp it takes pratice and lots of patients with a still air. You will be fine, one thing to always do is adjust temps slowly, and wait to see what the temp is before changing it again. I tend to stay away from the 101 mark to close to death for me.

I've been keeping my still air incubator at 101 exactly... It's only went down a few times to 98. Should I lower it to 100 or so? Everything I've read says 101 for a still air. I'm making my husband take the flashlight so I won't try to candle every day!
