Need hatching buddy! Setting 5 duck and 5 hen eggs Sat 1/16

Mine was a constant 99.5, but for the last 2 days it's been a constant 101.1. I have a 1588 with the preset temp. Should I change it?

Well I followed the *&%%$%&* instructions to lower the temp by 1 degree, and that's what it did. So I'm back at about 99.7, which is great. I don't know why, all my hatches in that bator were the same way, the temp was perfect, then went up about half way thru. I'm thinking that the eggs are throwing off more heat than the bator can handle, nothing else has changed. Yes, my last 3 hatches were all a day early, but they were good hatches with no problems.

I'm starting to get that urge to candle tonight. Oh , geez , tomorrow is day 14! Wednesday is lockdown!
Does anyone candle more than 3-4 times?

I believe its day 14 for me.....if I lock down 3 days before hatch date would that be Tuesday?? Feb. 2nd?? What do you think?? Am I right??

Okay, I peaked. I still have the 8 JG's eggs, and now I see feathers and a beak in each one!!!!!!!!

i did
i dont know why i did, i can't see anything but an occasional vein at the bottom of the egg and the air sack. I think the eggs are too dark and I am too inexperienced. I have no idea. The buff rock eggs are light and i saw movement in them but there are 4 of them, the other 10 are dark brown.
Btw FWIW the buff rock egg... one of them my husband put in the fridge the night before... its developing.
