Need Help! 18 day old hatching eggs. Hen died

By “training” I mean the kind that when completed, the dog knows the chickens belong there and are not to be touched. Depending on the dog, that can happen quickly, or it can take some time and consistent work.

I now have two chicks!!! A little yellow one and a now a red one!! And I think I heard a third on in the shell!

They are not in an incubator. I have them in tub under a heat lamp. I have put water and feed in there.

I guess we failed, then; because they never got that.

This is true the hard part is my two broody hens are sitting in everybody’s favorite nest boxes

My dogs didn't grow up around my birds, I had the dogs first, but I got lucky and they share the yard with them. I think the chickens and ducks helped teach the dogs too. I still won't trust them around tiny chicks or ducklings, but my call ducklings are 3 weeks old now, and they haven't bothered them. They just might be a bit scared of momma duck.

Mark the ones you're letting her keep, then only pull new ones every 2-3 days. Eventually the others girls will stop. At least mine usually do.

I do the problem is getting her off the eggs long enough to see what is under her
