Can you get a closer pic of the hanging stuff? I'm thinking it's not yolk, but actually the duckling's wastes from the past 28 days. Is it goopy?

Yay! That's just embryo wastes! You can remove it. It looks like she's all ready to be free!
Oh that’s great! Do I just wipe the goop off? What about the pink “navel” part that’s exposed? Will that just go away and not get infected?Yay! That's just embryo wastes! You can remove it. It looks like she's all ready to be free!
It's ok! Just kind of pull it off. If you should see any veins going through it, you'll have to leave it, but I think it looks fine. The little navel bump thing should go away within a day or so.Oh that’s great! Do I just wipe the goop off? What about the pink “navel” part that’s exposed? How's he doing now?I have my last egg sitting in the incubator. I’ve had a lot of issues with this hatch 25 eggs and only 8 so far survived.
Anyway, let me tell you about this duckling.
the duckling internally pipped days ago (probably Monday or Tuesday). I candled it Tuesday and noticed it was gasping inside the egg. So I made a safety hole and put it back in the incubator. I let 24 hours pass and nothing happened. It was wriggling around and peeping so I made the hole a bit bigger. Since then no attempts at getting out. I’ve been watching the veins go away and today I made the hole a bit bigger but now The membrane is drying out. The duckling is alive and peeping but cannot open its one eye.
How can I help it?? My humidity is high right now, in the high 80s as I read an article saying to up it if you’re helping the duckling.
Should I now try and take it out of its shell?
I'm glad I could help! If I know the answer I always try to help. Have fun with your ducklings! I have 5 more days on mine. They're taking forever! LolAwesome. Thank you so so much for all your help. Seriously. You’ve answered all my other threads too! I greatly appreciate it!!
