Ok so he made it through the night. His gasping is much better, he's pretty much not gasping at all and he's not making any weird noises. He does have sour crop, his crop seemed to empty some. How should I treat?

Did you read the article?

If you are sure it is sour crop (squishy, smells like a brewery) then you need a week of miconazole (women’s health aisle at the pharmacy) and you red to continue to try and clear the blockage (massage, coconut oil etc.).

I did read it. I do have miconazole, I bought it for another chicken with sour crop. I used up the suppository on the other chicken, I have the cream and it's never been opened. I'll start that asap. Is that all I need to do? I'll massage his crop too.

That is all I know about. I also used cellulase to break down the fibrous stuff and I know some people use the stool softener docusate (not sure what that does). But you are at the end of my knowledge with miconazole.
I do know miconazole is more effective in the presence of acid so I did give some ACV with the miconazole.

Thanks for the link! When my other hen had sour crop I found that article, that was about a year ago though. It is a good article! He is doing great, he's not having any trouble breathing and also not making any strange breathing noises. His crop was not empty this morning, it seemed likes it emptied some though.
