Need help asap

We lost one of our 3 wydonette today. She drown in our swimming pool due to my carelessness. Now we would like to get another hen because we want 3. My question is the other 2 are pullets now and would they accept another teenager or am I asking for trouble.

Hens generally do best in even numbers. I would get two from the same place, that way you don't have to worry about the age difference. Everybody has a buddy.

Introducing one bird can be problematic, so, if possible, I would get at least two new birds. Birds 12weeks our older would bee best
