I was in your shoes in May - Momma Dot kept them warm, and showed them all the ropes - I wish I had another broody to raise the new chicks I ordered in the mail. All chicks deserve a momma like my Momma Dot!

Enjoy - keep water and food close by and I did show them the water I put fish tank rocks to prevent them from drowning. in the waterer.

Dot hatched three eggs and she has done a really great job with them - they are coming up on 6 weeks now. Later today I am getting 25 new chicks and Dot is back to laying eggs and not broody - I have 3 other full sized hens and 3 bantams, 1 SLW Roo, 1 barred cochin bantam roo and 1 bantam roo. One of the SLW chicks is a roo. the other two chicks are pullets.
