need help fast please!!!!

maybe its a genetic disorder or an allergic reaction to something new. livestock and poultry are vulnerable to new diseases when they are taken to a new location.

Try swabbing area with a diluted peroxide solution(2T to 1 cup warm water)if skin is hot/throbbing there is some sort of infection.Apply an antibiotic ointment, see if swelling/redness starts to go down.

The infection is obviously internal (if there is one), since there is no visible lesion or broken skin. Therefore treating the skin with Peroxide will not help, but (a) damage the skin (b) stress the chick. Antibiotic treatment might be an option, but would just be a shot in the dark, given that the origin of the swelling is not know for now.
Not true, the peroxide flush is to clean out any irritation/infection to skin or navel area. Flush will not stress chick or damage skin.

I am so upset. Truly disturbing to see how awful it looks, I'm feeling like she's not going to make it :(
I just gave her a warm soak as suggested and was able to see just how bad it is. There is a very large area on her underside that is not just swollen but bulging out and it looks as though you can actually see her insides throbbing

she is in a separate brooder....
