One of my two week old chicks, an Easter Egger, is limping and we aren't quite sure what to do. She has been limping since we got her(we didn't realize it was a full limp until the day after we got them) putting little to no weight on her right leg. The leg is slightly twisted outward, but nowhere near as bad as the straddle legged chicks we looked up, and other than resting a lot more than the others, she acts pretty normal. She eats and drinks, pecks, peeps occasionally, and loves being held. We tried figuring out if it was slipped tendon, but since these are out first chicks we just couldn't be sure. The only other thing I have noticed is that she seems to breath faster than the other four chicks, but not with her mouth open(no panting) and haven't noticed anything else out of the ordinary.
We added some Poly-Vi-Sol to their water two days ago but don't know if its working or when she should know it is. I hope someone can help! I'm a chicken newb and am very worried about my poor disabled chicky.
