I think he said it was ponazuril that he has in stock. I just did a search.

I have corid liquid. He mentioned he has something that starts with a P. He's going to call me back in a bit to find out about medication. I'll get that name from him. It's for cattle I think.
I do have Albon at home as well but its sulfa. I have a hen a few years old with liver impairment. I have to be careful with sulfa drugs since I'll be treating them all. Is baycox a sulfa?
He weighs about 4. Could this explain his staggering?
That's a good one!I think he said it was ponazuril that he has in stock. I just did a search.
ok I'll get that!! I'll let you know what I find out. That's a good one!
My advice, for what it's worth... Listen to your vet. Trust that your vet knows how to treat stubborn coccidia. Treat just the one that is sick and treat him orally, not in drinking water. If you are worried about doing this, let us know and we will guide you through the process!ok I'll get that!! I'll let you know what I find out.
You can give Corid tonight. You have liquid or powder? Is it ok to start corid tonight (in bolus since it's so late) and then switch tomorrow to the ponazuril if I can't get it today? The vet is out on a farm call and I may not be able to get it til tmrw. He needs medicine today. Do you know the dosage by chance? He did mention he didn't know it and would have to dig it up since it's off label in chickens.
Or would I be better to order the baycox and use corid until then and switch?
How much does he weigh?I have liquid. 9.6% I think.
