Need help identifying what happened to my feed

If you have Ivermectin on hand I would use it.
I am not familiar with the correct dose of the pour on, sorry.

He either has some type of parasite or it is the Marek's making his skin that way.

I put the ivermectin on two hours ago. I'll see if he is doing better in a week. The crusty stuff is classic parasites. Just reading mixed reviews on if ivermectin is effective.

Sort of but in different ways. Yes on the yellow but it's only in the feather follicles that lost a feather and its random. The rest of the splotchiness like the one I showed you in the bottom pic is similar in pattern but is white and not yellow.

I'm starting to think this is a lost cause. I love Sal but he literally has had issues since he was 6 weeks old. I hate to say it but I'm regretting bringing him in. I got him bc my Cochin was sick in September with her liver and I didn't know if she would live. I got Sal so my other hen would have a companion. My Cochin recovered and now he seems to be a source of everything bad from coccidia to mites to mareks. Now he's trying to breed them and scaring them. I am afraid he will be the reason I lose one of them. I will see what happens over the next two weeks.

I'm really leaning towards Marek's. It's almost impossible for him not to have it since you've had it already.

I agree. I have been doing more reading. Mareks could likely be causing his weakened immune system and that's why he keeps getting coccidia. Also explains his staggering. As I was looking at his feathers today I could tell he's lost more weight. He has continued losing weight despite having a good appetite. I'm not sure this is going to end well.

Just keep an eye on him over a few weeks, I can't imagine how frustrating and heartbreaking this must be.

Well Sal was treated with the ponazuril for his coccidia on 2-3 and I also started him on 0.5 cc morning and 0.55 night of poultry cell for his anemia.

On 2-4 he started losing a lot of feathers. Typical of a moult. He sleeps by himself in a special spot so I can see how much he loses each night. Each morning it's been the same. Maybe 15 feathers. Then the house seems to be getting more feathers in the floor during the day so he's losing a lot. I also treated him with ivermectin on the 5th in case he has parasites making his feathers falling out since I found the scabs.

I decided to check him out since it's been a week. He does not have any new feathers growing in. Just bald underneath. He should have had new growth by now. I'm supplementing with protein again bc he was really staggering on the 7th from all the protein loss. That subsided with the protein.

I gave him poultry cell for three days and then waited a day and treated again same dosage. Could he have iron toxicity causing his feathers to fall out? Could it be the mareks? Or the coccidia medication ponazuril?

I'm just at a loss here.

Edited: just reviewed my notes and I commented on January 30-31 that he was losing feathers consistent with moulting so I guess that rules out all the meds I used since that was before I gave them. I know it's possible he has parasites that ivermectin didn't treat and maybe they are taking advantage bc of his mareks but that doesn't seem extremely likely based on what I'm seeing. It's just like something is poisoning him. Is it possible it's just taking a while for the new growth to come in? I've had chickens for 20 years and it seems like a week after the loss they have blood filled feather growth. He has none.
