My nieces and nephews want the chickens to have name and I’m terrible at naming them(so are they.) we have two sparkles(red rooster and hen),and Rosalita the buff Orpington. I have splash silkie pair, ees,

Puffypoo? Rojo? Suki? Naomi?
Puffypoo yeeeeeeeees I have a baby silkie that would be perfect with it, rojo and azul would be muy lindo. One of the blue Swedish can be azul. I have like 40 to name.
This website has TONS of great names: http://www.lowchensaustralia.com/names.htm
I love that it has a James bond character list. Definitely checking it out thank you!!
Oooo, I love naming!

Here’s some of my favorite suggestions; Azul (it means blue in Spanish so it could work for the silkie), Bonnie and Clyde (if you have an inseparable pair), Bambi, Willow, Smokey, Kiki, Stormy, Cricket, Rose, Queenie, Juliet, Delilah, Millie, Roxy, Nellie, Sunny, Olive, Goldie, Sky..... honestly the list goes on :lau
I’m loving these names, Millie and Nellie would be great for some hens that look just like each other.
My family still makes fun of me for naming my dog Trouble, but she loved the song and she’s weird.

Got any fav. hobbies to draw names from? Fav. artists, musicians, movie stars? My next girls are gonna be named after women in bluegrass/old time music song lyrics - Shady Grove, Pearly Blue, Little Maggie, Darlin Corey, little Annie. My current roos are Daddy LongLegs and Splash Gordon, although he outgrew the splashy pattern on his chest. I have a Grancy Greybeard EE. I'll share any of these if they strike your fancy.

That tall fluffy grey one is a Pippy Longstockings if ever there was one!
Just compared to her babies otherwise she’s short next to my Easter eggers.

that is such a cute idea!!!!

I love naming poultry! As you can tell, I like naming them names of flowers.
I actually name all my birds Hebrew names but I translated them for you.

Some good names are Daisy, Daffodil, Poppy, Snapdragon, Calendula, Sunshine, Petunia, Princess, Iris, Rose, Pearl, Vanilla, Allspice, Cinnamon, Lavender, Hyacinth, Delphinium, Lilach, Tulip, Violet, Pansy, Clematis, Lily, Hibiscus, Viola, Cosmos, Magnolia, Chamomile, Nasturtium, Marigold, Amaryllis, Zinnia, Bluebell, Jasmine, Lotus, Dahlia, Dianthus, Veronica, Morning Glory, Sweet Pea, and Buttercup.
The list could go on forever, these are just some ideas!

Here is a bonus one in Hebrew for you: "Zara" It means "shining flower".

One of my duck hens is named Zara. She is the sweetest little duck ever!

Sometimes I like to look through catalogs at all the different kinds of flowers and get ideas from that.

Happy Naming! :)
