from the last time i checked there was no swelling or sores but i remember when i picked it up, the left leg would curl up. i’m not home at the moment but i will send you a picture when i’m homeThere's definitely something going on there. Have you checked her legs and feet? Do you see any swelling or sores? Any green, purple, or blue skin (bruising)?
How long has this been happening? The leg curled up definitely suggests there’s something wrong there. Can you try to determine if there’s still control of the leg? See if it can push against you at all with it, if it’s curled and you straighten it, what happens?
hii sorry for the late response but i’ve noticed that it’s actually gotten better!! i think it was the food! i got a food that had more protein and it seems to have gotten better! thank you so much for the help!!!I don't see any injuries.

hii sorry for the late response but i’ve noticed that it’s actually gotten better!! i think it was the food! i got a food that had more protein and it seems to have gotten better! thank you so much for the help!!!but i’ve recently started noticing that the white quail has been pecking the other one and chasing it around! i’m not sure the gender of these quails yet (and i’m not sure how to check since i’m still new to this) but i’m letting it on time out for a while hopefully it helps. but the white one also has been doing this (i attached the video) is it normal? what does it mean?
