Need help with ducklings

I have changed to leaving everything in their bins. I put their water bowl in a small baking dish with a towel seems to help some through out the day. I gave them small pieces of romane lettuce in the water bowl today. They loved it and it was like a game and they got all sleepy❤️. I am leaving the chips in the bin and through out the day putting chips over the damp ones and at night washing the whole thing out and replacing the chips. They are the cutiest little guys. I've also got a bag of dried dead crickets I am smashing up and giving to them in small amounts through The day as well. They seem very happy.

They will need a small amount of grit for their gizzards to grind up the other treats....I sprinkle it onto the treat sparingly..

I think I've got it now I just needed a little help in the right direction! I appreciate everyone's help! I went back to the store and talked with the manager. He and I talked to the younger boy who helped me and gave me bad advice so that he can give the right information to the next people.

View attachment 1278147 Do an image search online for mess free duckling brooder or waterer and you will get some great ideas. I will attach an image for help. You can make new water containers from your recycling as they grow, cut a hole they can reach their head in to drink, but not climb in completely. In this picture they have the food and water in a separate area on a cookie cooling rack. There is no bedding directly where the water is and ducklings would be unable to walk through spilled water. I hope this helps you modify your setup. You should be able to make things neater without a special trip to the store. Good luck! Definitely allow them access to food and water at all times. They really need a lot of both at this time in their life.
? What's in the white container on the chips?I've seen that in other pics is it some kind of food?
