This reminds me of something I heard long ago......
Why do you never see any baby pigeons?
Because they grow and feather so fast they quickly look like adults to the untrained eye.
Yep, they get their feathers before they can walk properly. Quite comical.:lol:

You can barely see a few remnants of down on the heads, these guys were so comfy and well fed I thought they'd never 'leave home'. lol A bit of deprivation speeds fledging is what I observe.:)

That is just too adorable! :love

Seems that way with most critters. When I had my dairy goats, i always ended up with a kid or two needing bottle fed and around 5 wks id start backing off on the milk to encourage them to eat real food. Then by 8 wks they were weaned and eating well on their own... I miss it but just cant manage them as well anymore. :hmm
