I recently brought home a few quails ( a week ago) but now one of them has fallen sick. They were fed layer feed, so I continued feeding them that, and as for age, they were all a little less than a year old.
3 days ago I noticed one of the hens acting lethargic and drinking A LOT of water. I brought her inside and gave her chamomile tea, along with electrolyte water I made with ingredients around the house.
She seemed to be getting better the day after. Yesterday she even ate rice, but recently her poos ( and herself) have started to smell really foul. She is also swollen (on account of her drinking so much water), and when I picked her up to check on her today, she 'emptied' some clear liquid on me that had a foul smell.
Im totally lost and would appreciate some advice!
