I'm sure you don't have to, I just do.I've hatched hundreds of quail and never once dipped a beak in water.
Thank you! Sorry I haven’t replied! I was busy for a couple days and had some issues with my brooder so I had to go out and get some stuff! But my quails are doing great! Thanks to the help I’ve gotten. Again,Thank you sooo muchHold.
I'm uploading a video I just made for you right now. Give me a few minutes and I'll post a link to it.

Hey MGG, I wanted to thank you for everything you have helped me! I had one little guy die in the egg while trying to get out. He popped his whole head out but died some time in the night while I was sleeping. Another one died in the egg. So out of six eggs. I don’t think 4 is that bad of a hatch rate. I got more information from the help I got in this Thread than I did in the dozens and dozens of articles and stuff I have read off the internet. Thank you you for all your help. I apologize for not replying. I didn’t have a proper brooder light and thought I could use a homemade light set up but that wasn’t the case. I made a little brooder box and bought a brooder light .I'm sure you don't have to, I just do.
Oh, you're welcome! I'm so glad I could help. I'm sorry about that one baby, but it may have just been too weak to live. It definitely wasn't your fault! That is a great hatch rate, especially for your first time! You did awesome.Hey MGG, I wanted to thank you for everything you have helped me!
