Need help!

I had the same exact thing happen here with a Serama egg. I made sure to keep the humidity up around 65% - 70%. I had to assist her hatch once she stalled during zipping but she's my one and only survivor and is a very spoiled rotten little 7 month old pullet. I wish you the best and hope for a wonderful outcome.

@MGG is always helpful and knows her way around incubation and hatching
I wanted to thank you as well! I’m really thankful you had replied and brought the help to me! Your experiences helped me through my situation ! I am very glad you 3 came to my aid! Thank you Heather!

I like to use puppy pads with shelf liner on top. I imagine puppy pads alone are fine (especially since that's what @MGG uses) but I was constantly worried about them slipping. I admit that oftentimes I think WAY too far into things so that's probably where the shelf liner came into play.
Thank you so much for sharing the pictures! I can't wait to see the others once they hatch.

You're welcome. I'm so happy to give you some reassurance and tag the amazing ladies that helped. Thanks again for sharing pictures. Please keep them coming.

Yep! They did.
Told you they try to kill themselves. 😂
That’s crazy! I didn’t think it was that bad! I have had some little pigeon squads do some crazy stuff so it is believable! I have a bunch of pigeons and take care of the babies all the time and I’m telling ya, pigeons are soooo stressful! Atleast these guys can eat by themselves. Pigeons need 24 hour care. It’s really hard but I’ve managed about 7 out of about 10. I just noticed the weirdest thing in one of my eggs. The air sac is on the side. This is the first time I’ve seen that. It might die during hatch. I really hope it doesn’t but it doesn’t seem to be in a good spot. It’s one of my really rare pigeons too.
Have you seen this before on other eggs? It’s like where the air sac would normally be but on the side. Hopefully it gets bigger and adjusts a little bit.

No it doesn’t move at all but this is from my own pigeons. One that was abandoned. And your not going to believe what happened...... we had a bunch of ants in our house and my brother started spraying ant and roach killer all over the place and the door to my room was open and the fumes got into my room and killed on of my quails. He was gasping for air and I immediately took him out of my room and held him in my hand but he died about 2 minutes later while I was holding him. I’m soo freaking upset. It’s common sense not to spray that crap while there is chicks in the house l. Now I’m really really worried about my 3 remaining. If I was home I would have stopped him but I left for like 10 minutes and when I came back it was like my heart dropped in to my stomach when I smelled the fumes

Lol! Babies love getting into trouble.
Oh yeah, altricial birds are tough. I have raised a couple doves and finch babies, they are by far the hardest babies to raise.
Seems like you have a great success rate though!
Looks like a saddled air cell. It can happen from too much jostling, as Heather mentioned.
It should be just fine though. I've had eggs with all sorts of weird air cells, saddled, detached, on the wrong end, etc. all hatch perfectly fine.
It looks like it's healthy atm!

Oh no, I'm so sorry! :hugs
Did you move them all to fresh air/different room immediately?
How are they acting now?
How long would it take for me to know if the rest will be okay?
I can't say for sure, I've never had it happen. How are they all acting currently? I'd say in 24-36 hours you should know, but that's just a guess. Are they all breathing ok?

Yeah I took them outside to get fresh air while I aired out the house and my room. It was warm today so I kept them in the sun and monitored them while there were outside. They seem okay. They are running around and eating.
