He is trying to assert his dominance, but most of the girls are bigger than him and have no time for his nonsense.

When they stand up to him though, he bows down and runs off like, “That’s ok. She rejected me, but now she knows

No matter what, he is persistent.

Okay, SILKIE LOVERS, I have 3 Silkies in my mixed flock.

Their names were Shadow (black), Marble (partridge), & Buffy (white).

I’d like to rename Buffy, as he is clearly a rooster.
I can only come up with Johnny, as in Johnny Travolta.


Any suggestions from you Silkie fanatics (I’m a self proclaimed Silkie fanatic).

Formerly Buffy and yet to settle on a name.

Update:

Friend came over today and got to see the chickens.

She notices the white one right away and said, “That one sure is cocky.”

Okay, why did I not think of Cocky? It’s on Agent Booth’s belt buckle (tv show Bones).

So his name is Cocky.

I now have a list of baby names. I have 4 new chicks that I ve only named one so far. Stumped on names so far, bc they are so young.
