I got my first silkies today and am absolutely in love! I have two black and one that’s a silver-grey color. I was told that one of the black silkies might turn out to be a showgirl-she has a name neck. I’m pretty sure I’ll be naming her Dahlia. I’m wanting some suggestions for my silvery silkie. I love flower names and cutesy names. My son suggested Sylvie for the silver silkie and if it turns out to be a boy, we could name him Sylvester. My mind is running blank and everything I’ve found online is all the same I’d like to hear some originality from you all!

Me too! Iris is another pretty flower name. If it's a pullet. I have four silkie babies right now too. And six grown ones. The wait to find out gender is so long i swear lol

I’m not a fan of patience The waiting game is horrible! I’ve settled on Sage though. I love the smell and color and what it represents! Thank you for the name suggestion!

Beautiful choice! It's my daughter's middle name! Lol. I also love it's meaning. It fits him or her well
