I dub. I've learned a way that causes as minimal blood loss as possible, in fact, I dubbed one bird that didn't lose a single drop (until I got to the comb, that bleeds like a faucet). And they heal twice as quick too.

I used to be terrified of dubbing, but I realized I had to and one day I made myself do it and it went fine. I dubbed each bird within 1 or 2 minutes to minimize stress and then I fed them special treats and they totally forgot about it while they were eating cheese and goodies.
