Need rabbit help ASAP

I think she’s deteriorating fast. Her breathing is becoming more random.

i’ll check her temperature and get back later.

I think at this point your only option is an emergency vet. This could have too many causes and it's clear she's in extreme distress and this looks time sensitive. If that's not an option I'd try to make her comfortable.

(Honestly, not sure how much a vet could do either...)

I think Sophie, my Netherlands Dwarf/Californian rabbit is dying. She is laying on her side, labored breathing, jaw moving occasionally, and is not really responsive to sound, even dogs barking.

While observing her, she stopped breathing for 8 seconds, then resumed.

There is obviously a problem.

Is she dying?
Is she warmer then normal?
Did she suddenly get this sick in 1-2 days?

She might have RHDV2 which she could get from you touching other people's rabbits or if she walked in grass that a wild rabbit stepped on, iff the other rabbit had it.

Did she get a RHDV2 vaccine?

I understand.

I am pretty depressed. I need some time to get ahold of my emotions. It’s a problem that comes with ADHD. I get swamped by my emotions.

I will post later.

I'm with you, there, as in, we live in the same ADHD boat! I raised ND's for years back in the 70's, and yes, 8 is a long time for a little one like her. There's just something about their metabolism that makes them shorter lived than some of the standard bunnies. I agree with @LizzyJo. Bring your girl inside, wrap her gently in a soft towel and hold her. Talk to her. If it helps you feel better, tell her how much you love her and what a good girl she's been. Many people poo-poo this approach, but letting go is a very personal event in our lives. You handle it the way that best suits you. And it's okay to cry over a pet. Tears are not only cleansing. They remind us that we're alive and that we feel.
:hugs
