Need someone who can read barred head spots like tea leaves- Cream Legbar x Dominque chicks

At 6 weeks, it's clear who has a crest. The Legbar sire was heterozygous for crest and passed it to 50% of his offspring.

The Dominique dam was heterozygous for rose comb and passed it to 50% of her offspring. At this point, the 2 pullets look nearly identical. Here is a photo of one of the rose combed pullets.

Interestingly, neither of the 2 rose combed pullets got a crest. In a prior hatch, our only Dominique-Legbar chick (a cockerel) got a rose comb and a small crest. I'm pretty sure he is from a different hen, who may be homozygous for rose comb. Here he is around the same age.

I came across this post looking for clues to sex my new chicks from an Australorp rooster and Dominique/EE/White Rock hens. This was such a fun post with adorable follow-up pictures. Thank you!
