Need tips on staircase ideas for elevated coop

Why are you opposed to using a pressure treated wood ramp with cleats? It is very difficult for chickens to use ladders. If you don't want to use a ramp, you can build up steps out of cinder block as has been suggested or use stone.
Hi Tonya, sorry that I wasn't clear, this is for human access. :)

It sounds like this is for humans? I don’t think you’ll find many owners needing a stairway for their coops, they’d likely just use a simple wood staircase or cinder block.

They’re a lot of $ but you could try one of those metal staircases used on portable buildings, trailers, RVs, etc. I’d imagine one of those would last many years outdoors.
Yep, for humans and specifically for my Mom to have easy access. Thanks for the tips!

I can't go out to snap a photo right now because I'm treating my knee on account of incoming weather, but much like this:

They come in various sizes with different heights and widths. Just add a handrail.
