nothing, egg is kinda cold despite being it being 99.5

Unless she had pipped, she shouldn't be bothered by a dip in humidity for a short amount of time. Once they pip, they can become shrink wrapped. Either way, even if they have trouble externally pipping, she should have been able to pip internally. Do you have an alternate calibrated thermometer inside the incubator?

I'm so sorry. I hope you can find some comfort in knowing that you did everything you could to help this duckling. I'm not sure what kind of defect but oftentimes those things are out of our control. I know it's hard to lose them, even at this stage. I'm so sorry

she and her sister were super active then just quit, I think they suffocated or something

I think her nostrils were too small resulting in failure to thrive because look how small they are in comparison to her head
