Need to Sacrifice one of my Chicks

I'm wishing you the very best of luck! :fl

If you've got 15-18$ to spare/invest poly-vi-sol iron free is great for chicks with wry neck type symptoms or muscular issues. Just a drop on the beak morning and night. It has vitamin e and B both of which can help imbalanced chicks! You'll find it in the human infant care isle of any box store or chain pharmacy.

:hugsto you!
Good one! Thanks! I didn't know about that one. Guess what's going into my emergency kit, next trip to the pharmacy?

The nutri-drench is a far superior product. Poly-vi-sol can be used in a pinch till some can get to the farm store however using a poultry vitamins is a better option because the poly-vi-sol is a vitamin formulated for human infants and is lacking in many of the essentials.
Oh I forgot to mention I like poultry cell as well and it’s even more complete than nutridrench.

Poultry nutri drench has amino acids and is formulated for chickens... it is a far superior product to the infant vitamins... which are supposed to be recommended for peeps who ALREADY have it on hand for their own kids or can't find the PND. :)

I like the Rooster Booster (brand) Poultry Cell (product) a lot for older birds.

I'm sorry to say that she died. I went in to check on her at about 2 and she was gone. Poor chick!
Sorry for your loss. :hugs

Shipping is very hard... and even hatching, not all will make it. :(

How many loud peeps ya got thriving?! :pop:wee

I have five and they are adorable. They are d’Uccles millefleurs. I love their feathery feet! But I have to figure out if my roo is in the group or he’s the one who died. I really am having fun with them. Today they get a dirt clod! Thank you for asking.
