Need to vent we were burglerized over the past weekend!!!

I am so mad right now!!! They cut the power, cable and phone lines oh and even the power to the sprinkler system! They cut the alarm system yanked the panels out of the wall and then stole about 29k worth of electronics jewelery and stuff!!! Oh they even took my 300 lb safe out of my back closet!!! Last night was first night back in house and I slept with one eye open. The alarm system has been redone and now if they cut the phone lines etc it will automate a signal to the company to send the cops!!!! My wife is a basket case because of the keepsakes that are now gone!!!

Can I suggest looking in local pawn shops for your valuables and watching ebay?

My gram's ring was stolen at the hospital and we found it in a pawn shop....

So sorry. Hasn't happened to our home but to our business that is only about a hundred yards away. That was bad enough. Can't imagine how violated you feel having those scumbags in your home. Hope they catch them but it seems like they knew what they were doing so will probably have a way of moving the stuff without getting caught. I hope your insurance takes care of you.

I almost hate to suggest this but there is a good chance it could have been someone you know. One, they knew you were gone for the weekend. Two, they came prepared to cart off a three hundred pound safe.

Thanks for the advice. Of course all the pictures of stuff and receipts were in the Safe.....

Need a bigger safe and have it bolted to the floor!

yep, it sucks! Being honest, and working hard for everything you have just to have some scum of the earth take it from you... We've been burglerized twice! They even took sentimental things my grandparents left us, and my wedding band from my 1st marriage worth over 10k! Its irreplacable!

Hopefully they'll get caught! In both our cases they were caught, but none of the items were ever recovered with the exception of my nikon camera ... Good Luck!
