Need to vent we were burglerized over the past weekend!!!

Oh, I'm so sorry this happened to you! I was burglarized once while living in a subdivision, only gone for about 20 minutes, so they were probably watching.

I know the feeling of violation; that some horrible thug was there in your house.

This last time, the guy is a low life scum of the earth dopper! He was court ordered to pay restitution, or serve jail time. he said he'll never pay and that jail "ain't nothing!"

Ive been burgled, too, and does suck... a serious violation. One of the reason I have dogs and own plenny guns- -

One of the things Ive made a point of is to have nothing of value worth stealing. At least, not where anyone can see it.

I am soo sroyy to hear you are going thru this... It is such an Invasion when someone is in your home .. I was burgarlized a few years ago and remember how terrible it felt to be in the house alone after that.. Sorry not trying to freak you out.. What I am trying to say is yes you will be uncomfortable but you will be able to be comfortable again .. It just takes time... Another thing that helped me was to rearrange the house as well.. that way i didnt see where items were missing as much ..

Sorry you go ripped off... That stinks! I imagine if anyone broke in through a window here, they would get their head and shoulders in, take one look around and say "Dang! This place has already been ransacked!" and go to another house.

What a shame. Do you think it is someone who knew what you had? It sounds like it to me. Not a random burglary . . .good ideas about the pawn shops and reward.

We have cameras and the DVR box is disguised and hidden. I have pictures of all of our guns, jewelry and electronics all saved on a disk. Held up a legal pad in front of each picture with a number on it. I have another disk with the serial numbers corresponding to the numbers. I have both disks loaded on my work computer. Just trying to get ahead of the criminals.

We also live a very crazy life. We can have 5 cars in the drive and no one home or no cars in the drive and have everyone home. We also don't answer the phone if we do not know the number. It would be hard to figure out if our home is really empty.

Man that sucks, hopefully they can get you stuff back.My house was looted by the guy next door, boy that made me want to kill him and I have never thought of revenge until the! My wedding bands were stolen, along with electronics and other items. The wife could care less and pointed out that he sold thier stuff, ok really how do you compare selling family stuff to stealing the nieghbors who he knows is in a wheel chair!
