need Water Wigglers...

So, there is a toy called a water wiggler? Never heard of it! The only one I ever heard of was here on BYC just the other day while cruising the forum! How funny!

They are used in the incubator to simulate an egg. You get a thermometer with a probe on a cord. You put the probe inside the water wiggler to measure the temp inside the "water wiggler" egg. This helps you estimate the temp inside your eggs in the 'bator!

What A Good Idea!

around here I usually see them sold as water snakes.
Walmart had them when I was over there the other night, they are a smaller size and located in the toy section by the cheap toys (like jacks and marbles)

Do these toy ones handle the heat okay? No toxic fumes for the babies? Think about the passive gas exchange that occurs through the shell and membranes.... The mother/scientist in me is just curious!

I finally made one, but only had large ziploc-type storage bags so it hogs part of the egg turner. I feel some major relief having there, though, as the darn LG has crazy air temp instability.

Here are some pics that might help explain it all!

My walmart doesn't carry them!!!

I had the general store here in 'town' order a couple for me last week, still small enough to have a general store, if they can't get it... well, I haven't found anything they can't get yet. Should be getting them on Tuesday.

Sold under the following names:
water snake
water wiggler
water weasel
water worm
stupid rolling water thing
