Need your Muscovy duck pictures

Wild-type blacks to show some brownish tinges. Dusky blacks have most or all of their brownish tinges removed.

Your birds have some white feathers on the heads -- are they under 2 years old? If so, I'd suspect they have the white-head gene, which takes a couple of molts to show completely.

Here are a few pics of my blue fawn drake and hen. (this is what I was told their color is, but I'm not entirely sure. I do know it's too light to be chocolate)

They both hatched in June of this year. It does look like the drake is starting to molt, so that may be why his feathers look to be so many different colors right now.
If it would be easier for you to get the pics, I can always email them to you. Just let me know.
Also, credit goes to Al's Quackery for these photos, thanks

Such sweeties too. The drake is "Big Boy"... poor guy is molting right now and you can tell that he feels like he went from Mr. Handsome to Mr. Hideous! He's a real love too, meets me at the gate every day when I get home from work. Waggin' his tail and huff-huff-huffin' his hello.

I love the French whites vs the American whites. Thats really nice to be able to show that. The baby pics gave me an idea too .. to also show the colors of ducklings and what they mature to be. Not everyone has baby pics, however.. when available.. great idea. Im adding these and having brain farts as to how to keep the catagorys strait. This is a real challange but one you all are making fun with all the wonderful photos.

To the person that had the blacks that were sold to you as chocolates.

Here is a photo of a baby chocolate. This one is pied, I hope it gives you something to go by. You can see they are most defiantly brown as babies.
