Need your Muscovy duck pictures

Are those ducklings also Dusky? They don't have the typical face markings of wild-type.

Hope you aren't asking me!

Thats why Im collecting all these photos, to make a site where anyone can log on, go to a base color, like black, blue, chocolate etc, and then see a photo of colors. Im making progress.. hang in there for me.

I realize that....the pics are from duckling to adult feathers...so if the ducklings show the dusky pattern, you can see how the dusky pattern affects the adult coloration. But with the white bib, I'm not sure -- they seem to have the dusky pattern on their faces. If they are dusky, those pics would be valuable if you can find the same color and white-bibbing in a wild-type version and put them side-by-side.

I think you make to much of things. You can see the duckling.. you know darn well it is dusky and you know.. or you should that in an adult bird you can't tell if as a duckling it was wild or dusky. Its a bird.. its what ever color it is. The dusky or wild only matters from hatching to Juvenal plumage, after that, they are all the same.

I really think you need to go buy some ducks, or find a local person that will tolerate you and let you come see their hatches. Ducks are cheap, buy some and actually see what your trying to talk about .
