Oh, and I firmly believe “good fences make for good neighbors”! So even if @Andyup1 doesn’t face such dire circumstances... visual barrier will probably help everyone here!
Welcome! I agree that a visual barrier is a very good idea, and make sure the dogs and chickens can't get under your fence while you are doing it.
Better yet, move out to the boonies, where neighbors are there but not visible from yard to yard. Wonderful!

By the way, I've had my 4 chickens for about 2 months now, and thought I'd update. I actually didn't put up any screen at all. Turns out, the dogs cohabitate with the chickens just fine, as far as I've known. The dogs barked a couple of times, but I'm still their favorite target to bark at. Looks like I worried about nothing.
