Neighbors Cat

I'm with you!! Don't understand how people just dump their animals. I've read that in Europe a lot of farmers go on vacation and let their dogs and cats fend for themselves. It's almost the same thing.

But to dump a declawed cat---how cruel!

Maybe we should find these people and take away ALL of their shoes!!!

Hope you can help this kitty!

If both ears fold down flat against the head then its most likely a scottish fold.

If its just one ear, then it might be one of the explinations one of the other posters have given.

An animal that has been abandoned and turned so called ferel can be tamed down fairly easy in the begenning so you could try it , A TRUE feral can on the other hand take huge ammounts of time to tame down and its only a 50/50 shot , I use to work at McDonalds and they had ferel cats people dumped kittens in the bushes and off the free way ect. Well I caught the 9 of them in live traps took them and got them spayed and vaccinated with the help of some cat rescue people 7 got homes on someones fenced property as barn cats with there own area for sleeping and feeding station one little kitten probly less then 3 months old I gave to my mom, even at that age he was feral and it took her 6 months to be able to hold him he still is nervous around anyone but her but she loves him just the same. 2 got released back at where I worked and I set up a feeding station for them.
If It were me I would work on him to see if I could get him to come around and or trap him and find him a home or keep him but thats just me , I dont like being someone who sees that something is wrong but decideing its not my repsonsblity to fix it as this is one big reason in my opinon that the world has becoem teh way that it is .

Good luck

We have 4 cats that were like that. Neighbor moved and left them in his barn. They started coming to our house and now they live here. We had them pretty tame after 3 months. Then we stuck them in carriers and got them spayed. They were seriously upset. That was almost 2 yrs ago and they still wont let us pick them up. They come in our garage and if they don't get in by closing time they scratch at the window next to the front door. Won't let us touch them though.

They keep the chicken coops and house mouse free though. So they pay their rent.
