Neighbors chickens are a hot mess

Turn your hose on the chickens that come in your yard. Report the coyote to department of natural resources. It would be easier to train the chickens to stay off your property than to train two old boys to contain their chickens. Maybe it doesn't seem nice but you've tried nice and its gotten you nowhere.

I read about motion activated sprinklers, but the boyfriend says he’ll get sprayed every time he walks to his truck too. I’m still thinking about it.

It sounds unlikely that there is no restrictions of any sort. I would double check. Chickens are considered livestock, so there is most likely a law about the keeping of said livestock.

I am not the one to stir trouble, especially with neighbors but good fences make good neighbors. You could always talk to the sheriff, animal control, or the local health department.

Our neighbors chickens go house to house pooping in people's yards, eating flowers and getting on cars. One guy shot a couple for scratching up his car and their rooster got hit by a truck. Predators have killed dozens of them, I'm surprised they have any left. I'm the only one in the neighborhood who hasn't fallen out with them but its because I have a big fenced yard . My advice is build a fence so their chickens will stay on the other side .Maybe then you can enjoy your own and your flowers.Good luck!

Call animal control if that’s a thing where you live. If you continue to have problems, call again. And again. Clearly the owners aren’t going to change anything, so I don’t know if further conversation would be helpful. Fence in your property. It will deter both the neighbors’ chickens and the predators they attract. Add a few strands of electric fence, and your birds will be even more secure. Back out of the driveway slowly. The chickens will move.
