I agree with the others.

A tree falling is just an act of nature from the weather. Don't feel it is should stop you from mentioning the dogs were loose and killed your birds.

Cause what if it is a kid next time they attack?

You never know. Your birds might be first, a kid might be second. Loose dogs should never be unattended for any reason.

So better safe than sorry.

OH that is so terrible to hear! And I just got the eggs you shipped me this morning! Now I have even more reason to hope for a successful hatch. Were any of these eggs from your babies that got killed? If so, I would be happy to send you the babies when they hatch to replace them so you will still have something of them to remember them by.

Please do speak to the neighbor about their dog, so that maybe they can keep a better watch on it.
