Neighbours cat

I would LOVE to get a rooster- they are against city ordinance, but I guess if it was one that didn't crow, that would be the perfect solution. the question is- how do you know it won't crow?

also, if there is a motion-sensory water sprayer, won't it spray at all my chickens too?

I'm sorry I didn't see that you had replied. The trick with the castration of the rooster is to have him fixed before he starts to crow, before he fully matures. You could try this and see how it works out with the rooster, if he happens to crow, than a new home is order for him. With the spray, I guess the chickens would be having a shower.

Cats hate water.

Pepper spray the cat. I bet that cat wont ever come back, or the owner wont ever let it back out, risking the cat to run back inside the house, shaking off. thats my solution to dogs too.

Especcially if you dont want to kill it. If you have animal control laws, you can also do that or live trap.
