Hey peeps. I cant get onto my laptop!! I finally broke down and came on with the family computer, and it took me five days because its sooo slow. :/ But here I am now.
Elizabeth, was it you with the little roo? I'd take him if you still have him, we have room and extra hens. I've got a huge soft spot for roos. ^^

I had to dig this photo out but this was Peggy (rip). She was sent to me with the batch of chicks that petey came with. I think the babies will turn out to be her color, a greyish partridge.



Here are the blacks, i do not think they will be blue as you had hoped, but thats okay because i like black better anyways








and the marans. Hes much wimpier than the showgirls, He cowers behind them whenever my big fat hand reaches into the brooder. Still trying to think up the perfect tough name for him. Mark and I are bouncing some things around.

Yep, I have a Wheaten Am roo. I'm pretty sure I also have at least one lav am roo and a black/lav split roo and several BLRW roos. You are welcome to any of them. I'll be keeping them for awhile so you can decide when you get your chicks from Missy, if you want. The Wheaten one is quite nice looking. He could be blue wheaten but he looks like he has more black in him so I think Wheaten.

Audrey, I think Elizabeth might be right about your Marans chick. The comb doesn't seem to be getting bigger and its legs aren't looking thick like a roosters either.

Elizabeth, those lavenders can fool you. I thought one of mine was a rooster until it was 4-5 months old and it turned out to be a pullet

Love seeing all the pictures! The eggs I sent to a friend I made on BYC when I helped her with her first incubation, who lives in Michigan, hatched today so I am excited

That was my first time shipping eggs. Not a great hatch but she got 4 BLRWs, 1 lavender, 1 buff x wheaten and one wheaten to hatch
