Nevadans?

Thank you Elizabeth and Missy! I am so much more happier this time with this hatch, last month's hatch was only a 16% so right now it's looking more closer like the 75% the WH's are known for.

Good luck with that Tyler!

Not sure what happened. Last time the same thing happened to one of the BLRW chicks. I guess I just won't ever know why.
Oh, that's awful Elizabeth.

Well I had a tonsillectomy this morning so I'm kind of out of it right now. Praise God, it went very well and I'm feeling good. I'll try to check in from time to time.

Thanks Ron on the good luck with the hatch. I'm not an expert at all. I heard it's dangerous once you're older. I agree thank goodness you are doing well.

I've not got anything in the incubator right now....but possibly might have another go in a couple of weeks... Hatching fever coming out of remission, you know? (I've been sitting on my hands, but it's hard to keep a hatcher down....)

Wow! It boggles my mind to think that your chickens are those cute New Year's Day chicks! They are looking good (and big). Token should be getting ready to lay soon...as should the French hens. Love the fuzzy fav face. I can SO imagine your sister crowing! That must be a hoot and a half. And, yes, if/when I hatch again I can probably arrange to have some GC eggs in there if the fates are kind. BTW, your peach/rhubarb jam was devine!

Get well soon! eat your ice cream! I've heard that's quite painful. hopefully you have good meds.

IDK. Animals do seem much more in tune to weather fluctuations than we are but with the Jaerhons I think it might have choked to death. I had to catch 2 that were choking on the dry feed. I switched them to a mash since then. I had the same problem with my yokohamas.

I think Missy meant that your internet issues might be weather related.
But the choking thing is an interesting idea. can i make a mash out of the crumbles I have?

I did a little searching and It seems I can put my crumbles in the blender to make them a little smaller. So I think I will try that.
