Nevadans?

I only have ever misted. They have foggers to use, but I can't afford one. I've looked them up on non-chicken sites for cheaper, just still can't do it. Misting works just fine. But fogging seems to be very effective. You can use it in a humidifier or vaporizer too.

Oh and added to the water it keeps the waterers from getting slimie and works from the inside out.
I saw that the foggers were really expensive. Misting sounds good enough for me. Now to find a good source for oxine. Not sure if I can find it locally.
Yes Happy is a LB, sorry I did not post that. The face and comb are alot more red than the others which leaves us to question. I hope Happy is a pullet. Thank you.
hope it's a pullet too!

LOL elizabeth we posted pics at the same time.

LOVE the babies! they are adorable! your kids are seriously the cutest kids i have ever seen, love em! and your daughter looks like shes holding my poppy <3

Elizabeth, you can get oxine at sears. They keep it in the pets department. I found out while I was searching for here locally.

Love the pics Elizabeth and Aubrey. I have pics but I need to get them off the camera and put them on my computer.

Welcome back Ron! I hope you're doing well?

Cute, cute, cute kids, human and chickens (and you too Elizabeth)! And I agree the light brahma is a pullet. They look rooish when they're young but she would have a much more pronounced comb by now.

Had a funny thing happen today. When I went to check on the broodies, one of them had moved an egg out from under her. I saw cracks all over it so I took it. I was surprised to find it was pretty heavy so I sat it down to carry down to the trash and to decide if I had the guts to eggtopsy it. I took it in the barn where it was dark to see if I could candle it (it's about day 7). I don't have much experience but it wasn't clear. I decided to give all the chickens some scratch and fresh water to see if I could get the broodies to get off the eggs so I could count eggs (about 30 between the two). It worked and they both ran out like crazy girls and got some fresh water and treats. Back to the egg....I decided to just peel back a little part of the egg at the crack and to my surprise it popped off...only there was shell still there! I peeled another piece and same thing! Turns out this egg got moved into the shell of a broken egg...same color, same size! I don't know if the chicken thought it was broken so she moved it out from under her or what but I picked off most of the stray shell and put it next to the girl that had the least amount of eggs. Checked back when I went to lock the coops and she took it back. It'll be interesting to see if it stays put or she moves it out again.

Sears HUH? I wish I had one close. Going to the Bay on friday, maybe I'll hit Newpark Mall and see if they have it there. Did you notice the price?

WEIRD!

OMG!!! Lovin' all the pics everyone! I'm sitting here grinning ear to ear and DH comes in and wants to know what's up?! He's thinking something entirely different from what he finds on the screen! hahaha What can I say? There's not much that I enjoy more than pics of adorable chickens.

Hey if someone wants to get some Oxine and split it with me...

Oh and I was gonna say pullet too on your Brahma HSM but then I saw that last pic and there are a couple of saddle feathers that are starting to get long and curl downward... I'd have to see more pics of brahmas to say for sure though. The hackle feathers do not look pointy enough to be a roo though.

OK is it impolite to say that I had an absolutely wonderful lunch with Aubrey today? Aubrey you are such a Sweetie and I always enjoy time spent with you!!! Thank you! The food was amazing too!

Pam did you move your broodies yet? Oh no you need to wait until your Hubby gets home don't you? I so need to figure out a better way to do it before I get another broody. The last time was a disaster.
