FlamingChicken, you were actually the only one today that I hadn't met before. Other than some family members, that is.

So I don't have any pictures of the show, but next year I want a buff laced polish and a New Hampshire, and Russ wants a shamo, a cornish game hen, and an egyptian goose. And Sahara wants to join 4-H with a show duck. I told her to do the research and find out how to join, and I would buy one for her in the spring.

And our picture of the day is...

Russ and I expedited getting the lights in the coop, to convince those chickens to get in where it was DRY! Even the smart ones were soaked. So the food is in there now, and scratch grain all over the floor, with the two lights. But my silkie was way too drenched to stay out in the cold.

I know what I'm going to say isn't chicken stuff but from the ones who do believe in prayer, please pray for Staff Sgt. Rayvon's family. My son Alan is in Afghanistan and he has lost a fellow soldier there. They just got there a few days ago. I hope no one is upset I post this, I personally feel we should remember our soldiers who will not be home for the Holiday's this year.

Anyways, see you all tomorrow.
I agree. We will definitely keep the men and women that can't be home for the holidays in our hearts. So tough on all of them anyway and especially tough when tragedy hits.

LOL! Yeah I made that mistake today. I sat around quite a while wondering where everyone was at!

Sorry i missed everyone today. I had to get to the DMV otherwise id have no way to get to work Monday morning. (two and a half hour wait!!!) I did go by for a few minutes around 3:00 but i was in and out.

Missy I have a new hampshire who was one of the two first birds i got and i adore her. Shes a great bird and i think the breed is really pretty. Also Nanners was my buff laced polish and she was a favorite of everyones. Great personality. I think you picked two very good breeds to seek.

Sorry I missed the show too! But my nephew agreed to help me clean my garage today and as those of you who also have bad backs know you have to take that kind of help when you can get it!

I hope someone took pictures of the get together at Carrow's - I would love to see them!

Sheryl, do Welsh harlequins slow down in egg laying after a certain age? Someone on Craigslist is selling 2 hens for $10 (each?) and it doesn't say the age, so I texted to ask.
