that will be fun to see how they turn out. mystery chicks!Got my 5 free babies - I wanted all yellow babies because I wanted some variety in colors my hens - 6 of my 7 hens are black or blue (the other one is white). So out of the 5 babies, I am 100% sure I got one Buff Cochin! the other 4 I am not sure what they are - 3 are pale yellow with a tint of white and the other 1 is yellow with a tint of darker yellow with a stripe on her back. They are all supposed to be female...
We will see later what they may be!
so cute!I have 8 girls, 5 R/R and 3 B/R. We call them the Chictaw Tribe, my husband is Choctaw so we call them the Chictaw's. We have a little silkie we are raising in the house. She only weighs about 1 1/2 lbs. She wears chicken diapers, that I make for her. She loves to follow our 2 toy poodles around. When they bark she copies them. When we feed them something she thinks she should have some too, and trys to take it from them. She doesn't like it outside very much. She doesn't like the cold or the heat, temperature was to be just right. She follows the dogs out the sliding doors, and when they come in she follows them in. She is spoiled and wants to be held most of the time. All our girls are spoiled. They love my husband and follow him around like the pied piper. We love all our girls.
This is Puffy the chicken that thinks she is a dog.![]()
That is the absolutely most adorable diapered chicken I've ever seen! You must share your diaper pattern... if something ever happens to my husband, I'll be keeping at least one chicken in the house!![]()
