Nevadans?

I have 8 girls, 5 R/R and 3 B/R. We call them the Chictaw Tribe, my husband is Choctaw so we call them the Chictaw's. We have a little silkie we are raising in the house. She only weighs about 1 1/2 lbs. She wears chicken diapers, that I make for her. She loves to follow our 2 toy poodles around. When they bark she copies them. When we feed them something she thinks she should have some too, and trys to take it from them. She doesn't like it outside very much. She doesn't like the cold or the heat, temperature was to be just right. She follows the dogs out the sliding doors, and when they come in she follows them in. She is spoiled and wants to be held most of the time. All our girls are spoiled. They love my husband and follow him around like the pied piper. We love all our girls.

This is Puffy the chicken that thinks she is a dog.

I'm wondering if we know each other... did your husband attend massage school in Sparks?

What a beautiful "head case"! We have a black austrolorp, nothing that exciting since he's all black, but he sure is great at keeping the girls in line! He doesn't like me sometimes but I pick him up anyway!
So random question about yards...so I guess relevant since its outdoors/gardening...we are looking at landscaping our front yard, we are "new" construction lol! 9 YEARS ago! I really want to get a front yard started/done, does anyone have some affordable landscaping company recommendations? We had a couple company's give us some quotes last year...lets just say the word "Affordable" was not in their vocabulary! Lol. Any suggestions are appreciated, I'm in the south Reno area!

Keep those chicken pics coming and I'm going to do my best at NOT getting chicks this year!

Happy late Birthday Aubrey

Thanks about Headcase!! I don't really know any landscape companies, but have you considered trying to do it yourselves? It would be cheaper, and funner. There are tons of landscaping ideas on pinterest. I'm not sure though, is that an option for you? Do you like the idea of doing your own landscaping? I always wanted to take a shot at it, hehe.

We thought about "DIY" landscape but feel its too overwhelming for the size we have.....We would be working on it forever!!! Definitely need someone to get us started and then we could probably take it from there!

No he only worked at the Hilton about 3 years after we moved here. We been out here for almost 15 years. Both are retired now, but never have stopped. We are very active and have fun metal detecting and just exploring or area.

Ok, mixup then! I have friends who live in Silver Springs, but if I remember right, the husband is Apache. Kind of confused me for a minute. Most of my Native American friends in this area are Paiute or Shoshone.

Well, welcome to BYC!
