Nevadans?

Fun!! Wish I had found this thread earlier! I'm in lil' old Dayton NV. It's awesome to see so many of the chicken obsessed near me... I caught chicken flu after I got out of the navy a couple years and there is no going back. My heart belongs to the imported English Orpingtons... I also have peafowl. Anyway... HI!

NV thread! I'm in Dayton, too, off of Rainbow Drive. There are a couple of other Daytonians (Daytonites?) on here occasionally. No peafowl here but I have raised turkeys before and might do it again. I have a neighbor with guineas.

Sweet!! I grew up on rainbow rd! That's so crazy. I live off of LaFond now. I have some guineas too... Some days I wish I didn't have them though... Ha ha
 
sorry if I can across stong you just have SUPER cool bird I breed bantam SLW and hopefully soon i will add Bantam white wyandottes and SQ is the goal so i will have tons of extra hens if mine would start laying haha
 
Yeah they can be pretty raucous! These are like three properties away from me (which is quite a distance over here) and when they get going you can hear them with no problem.

I've got lots of them- ha ha. Jubilee orps, BBS, LF chocolate, partridge, lavender and gold lace. I want to show them, but im not sure how to get involved yet. My peafowl are India blue/pied, purple pied, Spaulding, and midnight. I am super new to peas though.

How long have you been breeding those are some very Impressive colors! For showing I would focus on Blue and Black
