I have reserved a GCM rooster chick or two from Kirstie though (she might have one for you. Gregory Peck was from her birds) since she was hatching chicks around the same time as mine. I can ask her if you like. Also Molly (Miss Molly) on the Northern California thread just hatched out some GCM chicks and she offered me a couple of her rooster chicks, but I had already committed to Kirstie's. Molly is in New Castle (just below Auburn) so not a bad drive from Nevada. Kirstie is closer though in Gold Run.

Hoo Boy! I haven't been on here in ages. Sorry but with this sloooowww connection I just didn't have the patience to read all of the back posts I missed. Let me know if I missed anything critical.

OK family visits, Dad moved out, back treatments, Farmer's Exchange and new drama associated with that, infected toe, torn ligament in my ankle, aaaaand...

Hmmm I could have sworn there was some big news in there somewhere. Let's see...

thinking, thinking...

Oh Yeah! I'M GONNA BE A GRANDMA AGAIN!!!!!

I waited to say anything cause my DD lost the last babies she was pregnant with (twins) but I have the official OK to go ahead and tell everyone now! IT'S A BOY!!!
Those of you that don't know, we have four grandchildren already. All girls! Now don't get me wrong. I adore all of my Granddaughters! They are each so precious and so different from each other and we have a blast with them. BUT, after 4 granddaughters, we are definitely ready to finally have a boy in the family!!!

It would be awesome to have the same lines as Greg, he was a REALLY good rooster. So gentle and awesome with his girls

I let Kirstie know you might be interested in a GCM rooster chick. She told me she has two chicks right now. I will being taking one maybe both, but you can have the 2nd one when I pick which one I am going to keep based on breeder quality since I have all those girls! She also has more hatching any day now.
